Background
Yo init manufactured by Invisibleknowledge forms a consumerist splinter group, re-branded from several of the finest brands consumed.
In trying to break from the controlling influences around them this youthful survival group search for some kind of higher truth and authenticity. In a wilderness increasingly founded on man made things, they seek to reconnect with their roots. They attempt to find new kinds of survival crafts and rituals with venture and bite in a wilderness of subversive narratives epic struggles immeasurable evil, small cars, shiny iPods, quarter pounders with double cheese and bacon..
The Piece
Yo Init is an installation comprised of many elements; sculpture, animation, and electronics which creates an immersive environment that you can wade into and explore as animated eyes on stacked heads blink and follow your movements round the space.
